Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ChatJuan (“the Service”) at chatjuan.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
ChatJuan is operated by Irvin Abarca, an individual operating under Philippine law. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ChatJuan.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use ChatJuan. By using the Service you represent that you are 13 or older. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf.
3. Account Registration
- You may register with an email/password or via Google OAuth.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
- You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts to circumvent limits.
- Notify us immediately at irvinabarca.nv@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
4. Credits & Payments
Credit system
ChatJuan uses a prepaid credit system. Credits are purchased in advance and deducted per AI message based on the model selected. Free-tier models cost 0 credits. Standard models cost 1 credit per message. Premium models cost 2 credits per message.

No expiry
Credits do not expire. They remain in your account indefinitely as long as your account is active.
Payment processing
All payments are processed by PayMongo and may be made via GCash, QR Ph, or any BSP-member bank. Prices are in Philippine Pesos (PHP) and include applicable taxes.
No refunds
All credit purchases are final and non-refundable, except where required by Philippine consumer protection law. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us within 7 days at irvinabarca.nv@gmail.com.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use ChatJuan to:
- Generate, distribute, or promote illegal content under Philippine law or international law.
- Harass, threaten, defame, or harm any individual or group.
- Create or spread misinformation, disinformation, or deceptive content.
- Generate child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or content sexualizing minors.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the underlying AI models or our systems.
- Automate requests to circumvent rate limits or credit requirements.
- Use the service for commercial resale or white-labeling without written permission.
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice and without refund of remaining credits.
6. AI-Generated Content
Responses generated by AI models are produced automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. ChatJuan does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or fitness for any purpose of AI-generated responses. Do not rely solely on AI output for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions — always consult a qualified professional.
You retain ownership of the content you input. AI-generated responses are provided to you for your personal use. You are responsible for how you use, publish, or act on AI output.
7. Intellectual Property
The ChatJuan name, logo, design, and all original platform code are owned by Irvin Abarca. You may not copy, reproduce, or use these without written permission. Third-party model names (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, DeepSeek, GLM) are trademarks of their respective owners.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
ChatJuan is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Use of the Service is at your own risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Philippine law, ChatJuan and Irvin Abarca shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, profits, or business — arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid for credits in the 30 days preceding the claim.
10. Service Availability & Changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes. We are not liable for any disruption caused by third-party AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, DeepSeek, ZhipuAI) or payment processors.
11. Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time. Remaining credits will be forfeited upon account deletion. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a security risk — without refund.
12. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Philippines.
Before initiating legal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us directly at irvinabarca.nv@gmail.com to resolve the issue informally.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. For material changes, we will provide at least 7 days’ notice via email or an in-app banner.
